My wife has been reading h-t for several months now and I just discovered that she registered for her on account so she can post and reply to posts now... I am so proud of her.

There's no members corner for me to post this in, to have everyone welcome her, but... since she does drive an EF, I figured I'd post this here.

Here are the mods so far:

- 90 Si Gauge Cluster
- 90 Si console with shiftboot
- d16y7 head and bottom end to replace the d15b smoker!
- 16" enkei RSF2's with 205/45/16 Yokohama Avid H4's

We have a wrecked 92 gs-r that we purchased to swap everything over onto the EF, and that will happen this summer.

sweet, did you convert to obd1? how is the 2g gs-r tranny?

 

yes i did convert to obd1. i got the y1 tranny with lsd. i must say, very sweet. the gear ratios are so close.

 

the 2g GS-R tranny is one of the better ones out there. i hear that tranny is worth gold around here.

is it the ys-1 tranny? (i may have my code wrong)

 

You are correct on the tranny code. no good for turbo though.

hi everyone, i am YumVTEC's wife. the EF is my car, but I like to steal my husband's EK and make him drive the EF to work. maybe I'll like the EF more once it is swapped and has some bigger brakes.
