Cant remove bolt from caliper? stuck
im trying to change my brake pads right now and I got one done but the other side the bolt wont move at all. What can I do to get it out. I only have hand tools also. Thanks
I had the same problem when I changed mine and I had to just keep hitting it till it came loose if U do to choose this way UR palm will hurt like a bitch
Yeah the ones on my LX are kinda stiff. A little WD40 carefully applied to just the bolt and a rubber mallet should loosen it with enough effort.

for liquid wrench...had the same problem...let it soak in there for a little bit and do its job then with a little effort you should be good to go

im having the same problem and i've tried almost everything and it wont come off. tried using leverage, wd-40, and now im worried that im gonna strip the head of the bolt, any other ideas?
try taking out the top bolt. (I'm assuming that you're just changing the pads). you'll have to unbolt the brake line (not remove, just unbolt, to get slack in line). and flip caliper the other way...
