VAFC questions... two of them
I got a VAFC yesterday (before my VTEC motor, but I needed it for a custom dash layout) and was wondering if they usually come with plastic over the screen? Mine didn't have anything protecting the screen from dust... and I'm wondering if there is a chance my new VAFC has been used? If not, then good...
Second, apparently this was shipped right from Apex'i in Japan? So, there were no english directions included in the box... I've put these in before (can't remember about the plastic though) and there is usually a seperate sheet of paper with some english directions for wiring and what-not. Thanks guys!

You can download the english directions from the website *i think*
My unit didn't have a 'plastic sheet' across the screen.. just check for scratches and look at the harness to see if it's been used.
if it has, send it back!

go to the apexi website and it'll explain it there.
In a nutshell, it allows you to change the vtec crossover point, as well as alter the fuel flow for given points in the rpm band for low or hi throttle positions. This is not all that it's capable of doing, but these are the main ones.
