Need more info on the Type R
I'm doing a little write up for my auto instructor who doesn't know anything about the Type R.
I've done quite a bit of searching (here on H-T) for this information (I know it's here somewhere).
Anyways, this is a list of the information I'm still seeking on the Type R, I've forgotten most of it:
Specifically the 98 spec JDM Type R.
1. I need to know what "extra" things make the Type R engine different than the other 1.8L vtec engines. EVERYTHING you guys can think of and put into this thread would be awesome. Please include things like the Valve train, cam durations/lift, intake manifold, throttle body, exhaust system, pistons, crank, rods, etc. (That type of stuff - please contribute what you can)
2. Then, I would like to gather information on the body of the car and the suspension aspects. Maybe even throw in some information about the spoiler, because I know it serves a purpose.
Just anything you guys can put into this thread would be great. Alot of this **** I've lost track of and forgotten about. I just want to know specifications and exactly what makes the Type R special. If you can throw in some links to other websites, that would be helpfull too.
