Default How do I apply my heat wrap to my exhaust?

I'm only going to be putting it on a small part where my exhaust rubs my suspension to make it stop vibrating. How do I get this stuff on. I thought it sort of stuck on but it says it needs some kind of hose clamp or something. What exactly is that?

you need a hose clamp, like the one you use to hold the radiator hose on with, its pretty straight foward, wrap it and clamp it.

If that does not work for you DEI makes some heat wrap clamps, cost you some cash though but less than 20 bucks, works good though, i have wrapped my header, helped hold on.

You mean like the kind you pinch and it expands a bit? But how would I get that on around the flange? Or do you mean those metal straps than you turn a screw and they tighten? I was thinking of just sticking some pins in it, since it comes with a pin stuck it in already so I know it would probably work.

I would try the ones with the screw first. You can take them apart to get around the flange.

I used the clamps that are used for axle boots to keep mine on...
