what's the lightest 14" OEM wheel thats a 4x100 bold pattern? are the honda optional equipment ones any good? i looked on wheelweights.net and none of the OE ones are listed. can anyone help me out? it can also be from another company. yes, i know that mazda miata rims have to be machined to fit. but list any ideas you guys got.

Go look at some junk yards.
There are alot of old VW rims that will fit.

I picked up some VW rims that are black with a polished lip for real cheap.
They are 14x6 and lighter than my hx wheels.


Those miata rims are sweet.

miata wheels look nice, what year miata's did those come on?

 

question for the EK on Miatas? do they clear 10.3" (GSR/SiR brakes)?

also the miata wheels are 14x6", they came on 94-7 miatas. to make them fit you need to have the hub area on the wheel enlarged by about 3mm.

I hear there's a 8lbs 14inch miata rim but one a few were ever sold at the dealer? or was it like a 9lbs 15inch rim? someone have any info on it? but I hear it's a grip to aquire them

mine from what i have been told are very hard to find and alot of miata owners want them....also have been told that they weigh 8.5lbs.......so maybe i have something nice on my hands

agreed, well the ones that are on the black hatch. question, is it hard to machine out the center part to get it to fit hondas?
