Default Japanese like things to be one piece?

Why is that in JDM land they always get the one pice headlights and in USDM territory we get the headlights with two or more pieces? Is there any specific reasonng? Or is it that the Japanese get the cooler things as usual?

i dunno. personally i like 2 piece better, beign that someone backe dinto me and broke my corner light...instead fo replacing the whole thing it cost 20 bucks to get new ones for both sides...whereas if i had one piece i would have been fucked....yeah they look cool but id rather be cheap

Ever go to a show and see so many " JDM Guru's " with one piece headlights trying to figure out how to replace a bulb for over 2 hours? Its kinda hilarious to watch, its the only reason I go to shows.

usdm lights are made of cheaper material, and when imported to the US japanese cars need to cut back on costs. Atleast this was the case for the JDM and USDM 4th gen prelude headlights.
