The hosts of the Super 2NR TV are good friends of mine and we were having lunch today with the producer of the TV show, Larry Saavedra(former editor of sport compact car). We were discussing the possible topic for the upcoming episodes. We came up with the idea of having a battle (race) between car message boards such as Club Si, Nissan SER board, and, of course, Honda-Tech. What we were thinking is to group cars from each board and compete head to head at the Street of Willow road race track . I am in charge of finding qualified people from Honda-Tech to enter this competition and here is the deal. Each board must have 8 cars and drivers available, of which the top four will be chosen for the competition (to race with other boards). The winner of the competition will receive motorsport related prizes AND bragging right on national TV in front of 87 million homes (if that's not enough). So what I am going to do is to ask the elite of Honda-Tech members to contact me directly and submit your resume along with some pics and the spec of your car. We MUST SHOW what honda-tech members can do!

As of now, the rules are the following:

1. Car must be currently register and street driven.
2. No lexan or fiber glass body panel(hood is ok, but no fiber glass door and hatch)
3. As of now, street and slick tire are both being considered, I will let you guys know which is allowed ahead of time.
4. Safety equipments are required(you must have your own helmet)
5. N.A. only

Sounds cool. I kinda consider S2nr tv the savior of the inport tv shows, they arent all about APC and that crap. I wish I could compete, Ryan you should do this.

what is this s2nrTV show you guys are talking about?? i've never seen it.....just that lame *** pepboys show they play on speed......it's amazing how much altezza style tails and windshield washer squirters can be promoted...

 

super 2nr is on The New TNN on saturdays and sundays. check your TV guide.

 

S2nr TV is on TNN. It is way better than hi rice tuners. They have had only power and race related things on that show, it frickin great.

why your civic is not competitable? its not a professional race, mostly street car VS street car.

I think this ideas kinda cool. My car sucks so im not in though.

 

Super 2NR's a sweet show but they've been airing the same one for the past three weeks - consisting of boosted supras and stephen p racing a 02 si.

 

Who can put up a good fight? And why no FI. That would make it more fun.
