Default zc, pm6, stock FPR.... but running rich?

Background: swap has been in for about a year but just started running rich in the last couple months.
-plugs reek like fuel and are gapped at 1mm
-constant soot around bumper
-noticible lag at low-mid rpm compared to what it was
-no codes
-timing at 16

I remember there being a trick to modify the FPR by drilling a hole in the diaphram but I dont have the link.... any help is help
tia!

Well first do you have anything done to your ECU? Have you checked your O2 sensor? Why such a big gap on the plugs?? I mean 1mm is a pretty large gap for the spark to jump. Have you done anything to try to fix it IE: Wires, Cap, rotor, etc....?

Thanks for replying,
1mm is about standard for most hondas, you might be thinking about it in thousands of an inch which is about 40 thousands if i remember the conversion right.
as for the rest of the ignition the contacts in the cap are normal, i read continuity through all the wires (as the car idles smooth as well, doesnt sound like its missing) and all plugs are equally fouled which leads me to believe it just straight out too much fuel.
Oh yeah, its a stock pm6 ecu... no chip or anything.. i'm at a loss here other than tossing $$ at and adjustable FPR and A/F gauge to see what i'm doing.

Not really sure if it will work on the 4th gen EF's but found this link and maybe it will work with the zc. http://members.tripod.com/~Pre_ludE/pmods.html

Oh, just in case you were wondering, I'm Barry (Jen's sisters boyfriend)
Peace.

Ouch! sorry to hear about that windshield.
What was their motive?

The prelude is working out great, its only got 37k on it, and I just ordered a set of Neuspeed sport springs. I am selling it soon though. It's just not practical for me right now with me going back to school, and eventually finding a place. I'm going to try to find another EF and work with that. I know, it's sad but my heart is really set on an EF. In the meantime, I'm fixing the head gasket leak on the crx, and hopefully I'll make a little money back on that rustbox.

Hey, if you hear of any clean EF's out there, let me know.
OK, I'm rambling now.

Take care and good luck!

hondas run rich as **** anyway. a zc doesnt utilize much more air than a d16a6. if you dont want to run rich, adjust your injector duration.
