Hey i have a 99 LS, and i put a CAI on it and it kinda whistles at a certain point in my throttle... Its been going on for a while now so ive kinda adjusted to it and can throttle around it but it just bugs when i hit that point when im stepping on the gas and itll start to whistle. Do any of you suffer from this same problem and if so what did you do to resolve it?

i have the same problem coming from my aem short ram, the whistle is
coming from the air passing thru the filter. don't worry about, it's normal
with almost every intake.

is there a way to get rid of it or is it pretty accustomed to all ls's with a CAI?

when you guys shut off yoru car, there is also a whistle noise or some sort of soudn coming form the intake too right?

recently, i cleaned the thorttle body, and every sicne then, i had no more whistle form my cai, when i shut it off.

it used to shut off and when off, at the very last second would make a whilste noise, but now its gone..

is soemthing loose?

on my car, it didn't make too noticeable of a whistle when I turned it off... on my friend's Integras/Accords/Civics, it made a very noticeable noise. dunno, I guess some cars just don't do it?

 

LOL. Didn't you know all aftermarket intake comes with wistle tips. Thats why they all wistle. You just bought a whistle tip intake yO! Don't worry too much about the whistle, its only just for dEcOrAtIonz!! LOL

 

the whistle noise means you need new blinker fluid and change the intake bearings.

 

we dont need 5 pages of NORMAL replies.
