Default question about prelude seats

ok guys, I don't own a prelude or know anybody that has one SO I'm going to ask you guys. I would like to know if prelude seats (any year, doesn't really matter) are heated. More specifically, I would like to know what parts are heated. I'm looking for butt and back heaters. I would think that on a prelude that it would have both. TIA

If I remember correctly the Canadian SRV's(US VTEC models) had them, at least on the fourth gen's. That's what the four cutout lookin things in front of the center console were for. Probably had heated mirrors as well...Stupid US gets the shaft on everything.

Yes I know for sure my friends candian model 5gen has heated seats they are badass. He also have kilometers on his speedometer and he has day time running lights witch came from the factory. He has other things here and there that are a little different. But when me and him go to car shows, other prelude owners ask what is up with the gas cap, kilometers, and his daytime running lights.

Here are some pics:

Here is a pic of his speedometer!!

Here is 2 picks of my lude:

My hood was not closed all the way!

wow, nice ludes.
5th gen.....thats the last one correct? 97-01?
are both the butt and back heated? or just the butt?
I want both to be heated......do you have pictures of the seats of the 5th gen?
where is the button to turn on the seat heaters on the car? is it on the seat itself or is it located on the dash or center console somewhere?

Thanks for your help

Here is a pic of his interior. It has cloth seats. The switch for the heated seats are on the door. Look towards the extra storage holder on the bottom of the door. YOu will see a little switch. Right below where the switch for the windows are.

YES... canadina 4Gs had heated seats... in the SR - SRV models...

I have a 4G SR... and its got heated seats... both back and butt, although the wires commonly broke off on the " butt" part and they dont heat, you just need to take the seat apart and re solder them.

In my manual it says that the Canadian ludes have the heated seats and the controls are in the center console. Anyone with a 92-93 lude it is right where that little bin before the compartment between the back seats. If that makes sence Don't think it was an option for the US ones though.

It was an option on all ludes in Canada.. I think honda used to sell a kit if you ordered that option, and the dealer would install it. I'm thinking about getting some myself!

on a side note, our 'ludes also have heated mirrors..

if 4th gen seats had butt and back then I'd have to look for those. Since I cannot get a definate answer on wheter the 5th gen's have butt and back.
I can't believe that in the PRELUDE forum I can't this simple info!

ONLY the Canadian version of the car came with heated seats and leather for 5th gen's. No idea if it is both the bottom and back.
