sway bars and strut bars
Subject title: Sway bars
then you go into strut bars I hope you know there two different things.
As far as I know Sway bars reduce body roll and Strut bars reduce body flex which increase stiffness.

it's good to get both. as for what kind, it all depends on what kind of car you have. if you have a 3rd gen, your choices are slim, but if you have a 4th or 5th gen, you have tons of choices.

Almost everyone I know who has gotten bigger sway's on a prelude has torn out the subframe where the bar attaches to the frame......just an FYI for people considering them.....

My friend has a 2001 VW golf, which he always complained he never liked the handling on. He's since then switched to 17" 5Zigen Fireball rims, and installed a neuspeed strut bar and lower sway bar. I drove it the other day, and I can say I definantly noticed a difference. It handles better now than my 97 base which suspension wise at this point is stock.
When you upgrade your sway bars don't you usually go with a thinner bar up front and a thicker (or solid if your stock rear is hollow) to reduce understeer?
In short when upgrading your getting bigger in the rear and smaller up front? BTW - A freind I know has ST sway bars for his MKIII Supra and likes them.

I havea 28mm rear swaybar. It tore out.. three times.
First time it pulled the weld-on bolts out of the subframe so I welded the nuts back on.. then it tore the welds out. So I welded the mounting bracket directly to the frame rail.. It tore a square chunk out of my subframe.. Finally, I ended up welding a 1/4" thick steel plate to the missing section in the subframe and bolted the bracket to it through the floor of my trunk using 8" long 1/2" diameter bolts with another 1/4" thick steel plate on the trunk floor acting as a washer.. It's fine now...
I haven't heard of people having trouble with bars smaller than 28mm...

I also would like to know more about experiences and recommendations for sway and strut bars for my 4th gen. I am going STS this year, so any additional information yall have would be appreciated!
Thanks
Thanks
Where is a good place to get them pricewise?
As far as the braces, my front brace tightened my **** up a lot. There's a guy selling some left over Spoon front & rear braces around here sometimes, I think he advertised them in another post on this same topic.
