Default Jrsc Owners...

How are your superchargers on your engine? Any problems and complaints? I'm just curious because I'm looking into buying a SC for my 01 SH. So I just wanted to see pros and cons. And if you street race what kind of cars have you smoted and the ones you've stayed with instead of you gett'n smoted (ie Vettes and Camaros and such..) Thanks

No problems with mine, but I upgraded my fuel system and have electronic engine management and a wideband to tune it. If you install the stock kit, expect a/f ratios above 13:1, a recipe for disaster.

Oh, I don't street race.

What's up Sharky? My role model. Keep us informed when you change the pulley dude, ok?

And I wouldn't street race mine either.

Boost = a helluvalot more fuel. I get terrible gas mileage, currently boosting 9 psi, driven hard daily.

yeah, my gas mileage went down as well. nothing outrageous but definately not what it used to be. even at normal cruising. as far as problems. nothing major.

what kind of tires are you running with that setup. i've only seen people post times with stock tires. do you know of any times with drag radials?

ive been thinking about getting BFGoodrich g-force drag radials, if i get a JRSC, and put them on my stock 16" that i dont use daily.....problem is that i dont think they make the g-force drag radials for 16" wheels

I just have the stock wheels and tires. I have an SS, so I don't have any traction problems LOL.

As far as I have heard, they will not be making the JRSC for the 4th gen. There are a few guys who have modified things a bit to get it to fit into their 4th gens, one has a lengthy thread about his on po.com.

Yea Ben Schaeffer( ) did one on a Red 4th gen. Basically its cutting out part of your fire wall for the Blower to fit. Then replacing the filter else where, not sure though
