ok guys, I'm looking for some new seats to put in my Civic (00 Si) but I'm not really sure what fits. I want something with heated seats cuz up here in Canada, the winter gets cold. I don't really care if its leather or not. I was thinking prelude seats but I don't know if they fit.
I would really like a heated seat that heats both your back and your ***.......
I'm not really into the "racing" seat ****.

any suggestions?
acura seats maybe? again....they have to be heated, comfortable, and sporty.
hence prelude seats!

 

You would have to do something custom to make it work. I don't know of anything other than Acura CL's that would even come close to fitting in your car. Even then it would be a pain hooking it up. You could try though.

 

My buddy installed heater in his stocker ek seats. I think they were out of a land rover.

well actually, I'm finding the stock seats to be kind of uncomfortable. I was hoping to get something thats a bit more comfortable.

 

get integra seats and put a heater in them then show us how you did it

I saw these kits on like truckin or something on tv. Like it comes with a back and bottom heater pad for both front seats. I dont know how involved it is but they said you just unzip the cloth of the seats and throw the pads in and wire it up. Looks like a pretty cool kit. I forgot who made it sorry.

 

Get your seats re-done with leather from Katzkin and get their seat heaters installed while your at it.

I'm going to try to get the the heaters. Cuz up here in Canada we have the Acura 1.6EL. Which I don't think they sell in the US. Anyway, the 1.6EL and the Civic are pretty much identical. SO, since its acura the seats are already leather and they are really comfortable. Only problem is that the heater is only the butt heater which IMO is stupid to have just the butt one. But since this katzkin sells the seat heaters I'm going to email them and see if I can get just the back heaters and have that put into the 1.6EL seats and I'll have what I want. AND the seats will bolt right into my car.
