Say whaaa? That car is not even broken in yet!! I wonder where the 27 miles came from since he made arrangement to have it towed to his house to avoid adding 25 miles...I guess from test drives.

"The car was removed from storage last month and driven to my house, where it's currently residing."

Okay first things first, 2 miles in 5 years, there's something wrong with that. I would definitely not buy a car that's been sitting for 5 years without engine circulation, refueling, realistic loads on the suspension, the oil is 5 years old for pete's sake!
Unless he idled the car everyday in his garage and changed the oil all the time... I don't know, I wouldn't buy it.
EDIT: Ok, I just looked at the pictures, that car is freakin' beautiful! He must have took care of it rather than just throw it into storage. He should put it on ebay to see how much it would go for:

he probably thought it would be a "collector" car since 1997 was supposed to be the only release of the Type R, it was impossible to buy an 1997 R without paying a mark up since there were so few of these things. 25K is not unreasonable at all since i payed 28 for my 97 R back in 97
bump for a clean 97
