big difference between a jdm and usdm itr catback?

big difference between a jdm and usdm itr catback?
is there a big difference between the two? jus wondering because if i come across a jdm one, will there be anything i have to modify to make it fit my LS? to my understanding, you can just bolt up the usdm catback. so any info on this would help a lot
