the d16y8 manifold i bought didn't have a iacv on the back of it. the 88-91 civic/crx eacv is sized too big.

what ive heard but am not 100% on is that:
92+ civic and integra iacv bolts to the y8 manifold

just to let anyone who is interested know that the 86-89 accord eacv is sized the same and is <U>almost</U> a direct bolt on. on the accord it is bolted to the front side of the manifold. and the coolant lines are on the bottom.

when you put it on the y8 you have to take the top off of the coolant side and grind the corner about 2-3mm to fit the shape of the manifold. it would still be possible to run the coolant lines if wanted just grind the cover also...or keep it bolted on when grinding it. (im not gonna run the coolant, so i will make a plate to cover the top.)

and the accord 2p connector is the same as the civic/crx!

i figured since there are tons of these cars in the junkyard it might be worth posting. at least for somebody to search on.
if anybody gives a shizznit i can post some pics...cause i think that was kinda confusing. let me know if anybody wants pics.
