weird idea...
My hatch is gutted and will most likely stay gutted. The floorboard looks like total garbage all the way back, but the roof, quarter panels, etc still look fine. I`m taking it to IAS this year to rep a few sponsors so I`d like to clean it up about. I don`t want to paint it because it will just end up getting jacked up again. My idea: spray-in bedliner. I`d have them do the entire floorboard from front to back. I really don`t care how much it weighs, not a big deal to me. I can shave weight somewhere else.
Has anybody seen this done in a hatch, or seen it done?
Flame me if you feel the need

they come in colors too black, red, green, glow in the dark, blue, and im sure they might be able to match it to the interior of your car

No, its a good idea I was actually thinkin that as I read the first part. My friends that are hardcore wheelers have gotten line-x in the rigs. I would say the you should do it and you can also get a cutom mixed color if you want to look like a line-x pimp.
just opinion, but i dont think its a good idea. since you take everything out to lighten your car, putting that stuff in your car will weigh it back down. just some input, but if you dont care for weight, i think its not bad an idea.
Not weird at all. Extremely practical, and it will last. I don't know if I would personally go with black in my car, I'd want the floor to at least be red to match my car.
I've heard people joke about this before, but I always thought "why not?" The only drawback I can think of would be the weight, which you said is not really a concern of yours, but I'm curious as to how much it actually weighs when it dries. I think it's a damn good idea, you should go for it.....then post pics so everyone can bite you
i remember seeing a kit you could buy to be able to do this to your own truck..it was a small 3 gallon bucket full of the black spray stuff and it was presurized by pumping it like a keg and then all you had to do was spray it on i think the actuale gorilla lining would be better but if you want to DIY then maybe someone can look into this further
