I just received some Rota Slips and the center caps are fugly (fake cf). I've seen the center caps from the C8s being sanded down and painted and I like the look. My question is dumb: would the centers from the C8s fit on to the Slips? Thanks.

I bet they would fit, and that would look great. If you can find some C8 centercaps do it!

 

Personaly, I like them better with out.

 

ahaaa yes i love how when ever i think of somthing to do someone across the states has the same idea and makes a thread on h-t so i dont have to..all i have to do is wait and watch.

Soooo, you're trying to tell me that the Rota centercaps aren't real C/F?!

If you can't get a set of C8 caps to fit, I bet you could find something at Home Depot to sand down and flat black, just gotta use some imagination

 

hahahaha its winter inillinois and all the dog poop is frozen under snow..what else can i use?

 

if you have the c8 caps then just dip em in some salty/slush mix... should take the finish right off
