with members corner, this was the funniest and most amusing site around, now with out it...its just another tech-site

exactly....if everyone would stop bitching and just have a good time getting along then there would be no problem....but people whine and moan and then don't listen to the mods and start making this a R rated website with their language and all hell breaks loose....just let everyone cool off, i'm sure it will be back up soon

isn't it funny how we're suppose to talk about this kindda stuff in the members forum but we cant?

 

It got disabled because a handful of people messed it up for everyone else.

Imagine being dustin, and part of your site is turning into some Jerry Springer-like circus show. Its HIS site and his neck is on the line, for his own credibility. Can't anyone respect the decision?

Everyone got all in-your-face saying its a 'free country', etc, and we can talk about what we want in the MC. It's NOT a free country on H-T. Someone owns the site, software and disc space. It's most definitely a dictatorship. Those of us who use H-T for more than the MC don't want this site to go down the tubes because of MC members trolling their agruments about the 'fun' getting shut down.

What would you do? Make new rules and shut it down in the meantime.

But that doesn't mean all the lost souls who are so sad about the MC should come and invade the tech forums.

dont get me wrong..i loved members corner too..but things were getting out of control in there and obviously the moderators didn't like it but hey thats why they call it honda TECH...for getting advice about our cars

as someones already said, i'm sure all this bitching about no members corners isn't going to help much.

all you guys are doing no is flooding the tech forums with this BS. if you want a silly site to talk about BS then go to superhonda or something.
yes members corner was sometimes fun but this site has so much more to offer than it isn't necessary to have it

 

if you dont like h-t anymore, then it wasnt really a tech site to you to begin with. go post on CSi or off-topic.net

 

Members corner was a very fun part of HT. You could relate to other people besides just on the car level. I dont think it should of been takin away. I never saw anything too offensive in there. If someone had a problem with it, dont go in there. If a topic looks like it might offend you, dont go in there. Simple as that.

Why exactly did it get shut down? I loved it too and I'm sad it's gone. I dont think the whole site would get shut down.

 

I agree, I think that the members corner was a good thing. Without it out site is just another tech site that has no feeling, I think that they members corner made this site alot more fun! Hopefully we get it back!

Yeah... really

But still, I do think that it's a valid subject for the HT community to talk about, at since there's no more MC forum, this is as good a forum as any for that to be done.

I loved the members corner because while it DID have some stupid, and occasionally offensive posts, it was also a great outlet for all of us to diverge into some very worthwhile topics - politics, religion, our personal lives, etc. I think that it's a huge loss, and I really hope that it comes back soon.

Members corner used to be sweet... the past year it has pretty much sucked. Good work shutting it down. Oh yeah - IBTL.
