i was simply curious how many horses a naturally aspirated h22a1 can generate? i am probably gonna get a turbo, but i also would like to know what the numbers would look like if i were n/a. keeping my options open and all. 11:1 compression, skunk2 stage 2 camshaft, etc... if i went the n/a way, what are good headers? does the mugen header of a 97+ fit on the h22 of a 93, or is it a no go?

 

I've figured about 220whp with everything built to be streetable, not counting stroking or boring the motor over. There is always some crazy bastard willing to run 13:1 cr, race gas, huge cams, and 2.5Ls though.

 

That crazy bastard is me with my new engine for my civic.

 

Case in point. Let me hook up a direct port kit to your motor and we'll call you truly phsycho.

 

If I can't get my civic in the 10's NA, then a suitible application of nitrous will be used.
