Tires: Dunlop SP Sport FM901
Time for a new set of tires before the Expo and I'm considering the Dunlop SP Sport FM901s in a 195/55/15. I can get a great deal on them, but haven't heard much feedback on their performance capabilities and tread life. I'm getting ready to toss my Kumho ECSTA Supra 712s and give these tires a try. Just curious if any other R owners have had this rubber on their car and tracked them at all. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks guys....
Wouldn't buy them again...I got a deal on my set as well, but they are too squirmy. Very soft sidewalls. I liked my Toyo T1-S's better. I'd get BFG G Forces or Azenis if I had to do it again.....
I have run them on the track and they are not bad if you consider their level. Side wall kind of soft compare to Azenis.
For dry, I think Azenis is better but on rain FM901 will definitely better.

What about the Yokohama ES100's same sidewalls as the Azenis and supposedly better than the Falkens in rain. I can get them for the same deal as the Dunlops but the Yokohamas will be 205/50s
Hey, whatever happen to you getting me prices y0
No need now, I sold those rims. If you dont want Azenis, then get the ES100's Bizzle. I think Im going to get those next. And the Azenis for a second set.

don't get the FM901s. sidewalls are really soft and they're really quick to let go, as well. they're good in rain, though, and they last a hella long time, so I don't have a good excuse to replace them
Ive Touged and Tracked them. They are good, I prefer them over the Azenis in touge , but for track azenis are better. I would definately recommend them.
Running on a set right now.

They're ok. Not the best performance tires. One thing I noticed about them versus other tires I've driven on is that they are noisy. A lot of road noise.
Here's what I got when I asked that question:

(P.S.: try a search you bloody bastich!

Like someone else mentioned, this is a cheap tire for u drifters out there. U want little traction, these are the appropriate tires to get.
THese tires have been in the market for close to 4 years now but they are rated quite low among other tires in the same price range. Even the 5yr old Yok 510's are better performing in the rain and dry than the newer Dunlop's.
I dont know how much the Falken Ziex costs but this is a better tire both in the dry and wet.
