Fresh built GSR having problems with it.... help
i recently had my 95 usdm GSR block built because the piston rings were gone. i bored the block 40 over and put JE 11:1 pistons in it. the motor now has 1700 miles and runs rough, sounds like a diesel when ideling. Also it wont start in the cold, that is my main problem. when i leave it in the garage and its warm there, the bitch start right up. in the cold it wont start. wtf.
Also the car seems to have no ***** at high rpms. once vtec kicks in its all noise and no pick up, the car feels weak. the timing i had done proffetionaly so it cant be that and the distributor is new. anyone run into same problems

Check your Oil level.
Check your spark plugs.
Change your plug wires, cap & rotor if that wasnt changed in the process of the rebuild.
try these

sounds like the combonation or your cams and the rest of the moter are not correct when you changed the bore of your moter if you change anything else or did you leave it stock? hit me back and lets git this thing running right!!!!!!!!!!!
you bumped up our cr you might want to run a higher octane fuel after boring blocks to add hp you will have that problem in the cold until the moter gets warm and the oil gets flowing good....i have a 89 camaro rs with a 350 bored 60 which is as far as it goes but it has the same prob!! in the cold but you said you set the timming on it you might want to advance it or get you comp tuned to change the fuel and air mix right because on these cars the same amount of fuel is added through the power band......it just need some more adj.!!

cap. rotor, and wires are new. everything on the block is stock except for it being bored out and bumped compresion. i only run 93 octane on it.
not enough fuel, try getting a new fuel pump and pressure regulator and play around with the settings. Stock fuel pressure is around 60 psi you can keep bumping it up to 90psi max on stock lines. All engines need to have a rich mixture when doing a cold start. Hope that helps
