.evil laughter. Very very cool!
It works!!
I'm so giddy! Before, when i drove to work with the outside temp around 55degrees, the water temp would climb to around 170, without the fan running.
Now, with the new radiator... NO MORE! it never went above 150degrees!!!
Last night, pushing the car VERY hard (substained 7000rpms) and it wouldn't go past 180degrees!!
VERY VERY cool!
AbsoluteRadiator.com + Water Wetter + Water only = Uber cool.
Now i'm prepared for Streets of Willow .more evil laughter.

distilled water, I hope.
it's filtered water from my sink. I have water softner.
But, i will be doing a complete flush prior to heading out to Streets, since there was plenty of crap floating around inside the radiator.
Those are awesome results, especially w/no antifreeze. Will adding antifreeze make it run even cooler?
By the way...what temp gauge are you using and where do you have it mounted? I'm looking into getting one and I'm trying to get ideas.
Did you have water wetter in there before?
That's not bad at all for how much the radiator was, like $130 right??
Alex
*EDIT* grAmmAr check

I'm pretty sure straight water provides the most cooling potential. Antifreeze I believe is used because of its higher boiling point (for people who don't check their cooling system often- it won't evaporate as easily and thus won't leave the owner stranded because they ran out) and lower freezing point (for people who live in colder climates- not Kam).
coolant/antifreeze has a higher boiling point, so its easier for it cool at high temps, is it still less efficient than water? If you're talking 180 farenheit then you could run water all year long, sorta

I counldt really find a good article on why distilled water is better than just tap water, or *filtered* tap water but I did find this:
basically, worth my $5 or less for a couple gallons to have perfectly pure water.
and a good article on water wetter:

Distilled water is the purest form of water. The distillation process is simple: liquid water is turned to vapor, and back to liquid in its pure form. As the vapor rises, all the impurities—compounds such as bacteria, viruses, organic and inorganic chemicals, heavy metals, trace elements, volatile gases, cysts and soil particles—are left in the still. Only the water molecules rise, and when that vapor is converted back to liquid, the result is pure, clean,

except when u car sits over night in the 7 degree weather.

Nope, it is solely to keep the coolant from freezing

I shoulda thought about that.Is THAT why it's called antiFREEZE?
Yeah, so anyway...that article about WaterWetter was very informative...I guess I should have known some of that stuff by now, but oh well.
So when I get my new radiator, I'll make sure to use a smaller % of antifreeze - it never gets that cold here, and it makes the car run cooler. What exactly are the drawbacks of running a lower proportion of antifreeze?
Alex
In my case i dont like it
my PM6 has a lower redline when it reads 180 deg or lower..
my can runs soo cold... i even disconected fan and still too cold... my cold reldine still hitting..
i even went the xtra mile, covering my half of radiator with a piece of cardboard in order to make it go a lil hotter and get to normal 6800 redline...
