Got an Email from the northeast Section of ITRCA.com....some members will be going on sunday to race. There is no fee to go and Watch. Maybe perfect place for a little Type R meet in North Jersey. Time is 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

i have never been to mclub event, i should be there.... actually, i have never run on street tires, so this should be interesting. i'm gonna look like a fish out of water, flopping around....

just to watch? watching autocross has to be the most boring theing ever....just run, use your hatchcrap...use your mom's car, use whatever!

It's always good for practice for the budding track ******... Anyone going to the Expo that hasn't driven an event yet might consider getting as much different seat time as they can before hitting the course. And an autocross definately gets you acquainted with car control skills.

And I gotta agree fuggin strongly with rodney, Watching a track day is one thing and boring unto itself but, watching Autocross and especially in colder weather is almost torture, (ask my wife!)

If you come you might as well run. It's for fun not points and it's boring as Hell if you just watch and freeze.

If you all want to have a mini meet then good, we'll see you, just dress warm.

Oh talk about that, I will turn 24 yrs old this year...which means in in Chinese that I am having a "bad year" because of I am sheep! And 2003 is the year of sheep.

seriously though, if I had the R I would run it. Im not going to learn anything by abusing my beater or the Tundra, and I definitely cant afford to break them.

 

Mini Type R Meet! Sweet I'm glad I won't be the only one watching!

 

I hate boiling outside on a hot day to autocross. I'll probably hate freezing my *** off for an autocross just as much.

If I can wake up early enough and the weather is warm enough *laugh*, I'll probably show up. Been itching to drive the car for awhile.

If I can't wake up, well ... I'm not going to freeze my hiney off to just watch an autocross.

 

Kyle I wonder which one of us sweats more? I was sweating bullets of fear the whole day at LRP...

Go to bed nice and early and get your butt there, it's supposed to be about 40 to 45 degrees and up to 50 by Monday.

I was actually quite comfortable at LRP. But I'm pretty sure everyone noticed how uncomfortable I was at that one NASAX when I decided to change wheels at the autocross.

That's when I decided ... competitive my ****, I'll be happy with running Azenis to and from the autocross/track. No more tire changing for me!

I was suppossed to fly up to Teterboro this weekend and was hoping to come see you guys in action (I usually end up staying somewhere around the Meadowlands), but it looks like the trips not going to happen. Would have been fun to see you guys racing and freezing your butts off. Of course not going on the trip isn't all bad. I get to go to Laguna Seca tomorrow.

 

i may show up and race on my all-season dunlop 5ks. it's my birthday too - 28! we'll see, i won't know until the last minute, but it does look to be a "warm" day.
