wouldn't it be hard for a sport bike to get pulled over? i mean those things are so fast, plus you could always just run into the woods with it...

Run into the woods? carrying 450+ lbs with you? probably not the wisest move, and most likely a direct ticket to make it on C.O.P.S.
Bikes DO get pulled over. Have you ridden a bike before? Police always give you the stare-down, or they follow you.
Trying to run-away from cops is a bad idea...A) plates will lead them right to you and B) when you get caught, it's some time that could have been avoided had you just pulled over to begin with.

sorry, i've never actually ridden a bike before, i just thought that they were too fast to get pulled over cause i know a guy from high school who ran from the cops all the time and didn't even care. but yeah it IS stupid to run from the cops.

Yea, cuz we all know that Bikes can outrun radios........

Why run and get a felony, when you can stop and live.

Every thread I've read from you leaves me wondering. Anyways, I've been pulled over 2x, and both times the cop thanked me for stopping and let me go. Its just not worth it. Of course we all know people who run, but eventually they get caught

No, I don't run from the cops either. Like the man above me said, you can't outrun the radio. Besides, you're going to put your life on the line to get out of speeding ticket?

You can't out run the bird. If you have no plates and the chopper isnt up in the air yet you have a chance of getting away but you have an even higher chance of dying.

I do whatever everybody else is doing. If everybody's doing 70 in that 45 mph zone, than so am I.

I actually drive my bike milder than I do my car (I'm hard on my car). I've been pulled over once on my bike, and I got a ticket.

No, but I'll do 50mph in a 45, which is slower than everyone else. Any slower, and I become a hazzard.

I use to do close to 80 on every road until I got pulled over. Next time you ride or see a bike, look around youll find a cop come right after him to run his plates. Cops hate bikes.

I agree with the guy from the above post. I drive my car a lot faster than I do my bike. Bikes attract enough attention as is. Blasting by people is basically saying to police, "Please ticket me".

PS. I wish I was Duhamel.. My replica helmet definitely doesn't do justice

it is strange though, i've never seen a bike get pulled over....i've never gotten pulled over and i've been riding since 1999. I consistently go about 80-85mph on da freeway and cops jus drive on by me. Jus yesterday me and my buddy were cruising at 85mph and a motorcycle cop jus cruised on by us. I thought we were gonnna get speeding tickets for SURE. =T Maybe i'm jus lucky.
