which wheels would you go with?
since this forum is all about looking stock and slow.
here is my car
medium built n/a gsr motor
suspensionish and breakish stuff as well
i found a good deal on 96 gsr wheels. they are 1-2 lbs lighter than the ones i have right now. and are a lot uglier. i am hoping that this will contribute to the anti theft factor.
as you can see except from the light tint and a bit lower ride stance. everything else is stock.
do you think it is worth the ratio of bad looks/medium theft deterent?

Well having 96 GSR wheels will definately mean that you wheels are less likely to be stolen, as the 94/95 GSR wheels are in demand, but unfortunately, the car will most likely still be a target merely because it is a GSR. Try taking off the DOHC VTEC badge in the back, and with the 96 wheels people will think it's an SE.

Friend, you have missed the point entirely. DFH means that only the informed eye will be able to know that my $900 used car has the potential to go faster than a $30k+ "sports car."
The modifications made to my Old School CRX are so subtle, maybe you would not recognize them from 10 feet away. But if you bottered to get close and look in the right spots you would find the engine, suspension and safety modifications that make my street legal CSP terror so quick.
Wings, stickers and lights are for poseurs. The DFH look is for those of us who want to have the potential for real speed without attracting the attention of the police or thieves.
