Default I need some help with IMOTO ....

http://www.imoto.com

Need someone to rattle their cage a bit.
I've been waiting for their precious TVS hood for my project since LAST MARCH!
I've been charged for it at that time, and now John doesn't return my calls or e-mails.

I've had enough, but don't have the time at the moment to knock on their door myself, ... and most of you know I would!

TIA Ed

they BLOW! I had a hood from them a few years ago. It was a POS, and the company sucked to deal with.

Here is a link, although I think it actually took a lot longer than I had originally posted.

call your credit card company up and tell them the story. they'll give you your money back.

i placed an order for a CF hood and John kept telling me that it'll be in next week....i said "**** it", called my credit card company up and they credited my account .

Thanks guys, ... as you know I've been pretty patient putting my car together this last year or so, ... but time's running out and I'm tying up the remaining loose ends.

Ed, I recently got a bunch of hoods shipped to my house, and Johnny gave me terrific service...I wonder whats up?

I also talked to a guy there named Bernard who was helpful as well, if that helps at all. If they cant at least get you the TVS hood, which I dont even know if they sell anymore, they should be able to do the VIS Invader hood for like, half the price...they were doing a buy for $330+s/h before, just so you know.

Thanks Nick,

When I first talked to John last march I understood that it would "take a while", and that they were a little "short-handed", etc.

John agreed to begin production and was telling me they were working on the "fit and finish" as well as using some better UV resistant binder/resin, and I was always accepting of these explanations.

For all I know, they may have even sent the hood as they say, but that would have been at least two weeks ago now and I have no additional information from them since.

I WANT THE HOOD, especially that one for it's vented cooling and aero effect.
John did give me $100 off when I ordered because of the expected delay, but that still means I've paid ~$699 for something I haven't recieved for almost a year now, with not even any present info on an ETA.

What can I say, I'll probably be in cali in a couple months with my stock hood (modified) and look forward to asking John myself. hehe Ed
