slick size vs. horsepower
Do you think my car would be able to successfully push 22x8x13 slicks mounted on 13x8 bogarts.
My car pushes 163whp and 165lb-ft torque and i usually trap about 100-101mph in the 1/4 mile.

no problem at all. you'll go 13.1 or high 12's with that trap speed. if you didnt buy the wheels yet, you could get 7" instead of 8". but then again, the 8" wheels wouldallow you to upgrade to 9 or 9.5" tires at a later date. good luck

at 160hp or so.. its good to start out with the 22x8x13. you 'll be able to use it for awhile as you bump up the hp up into the low 200s
