I have a 2000 automatic 4cyl. and was wondering what the best brand for pulleys are? How much does it cost to install them and where the best place to find them.

not sure what is the best brand but the popular brands are aem (www.aempower.com) and unorthodox (www.unorthodoxracing.com)... installation cost and best place to get them varies... get them and let us know how it goes...

UR pulleys are fabricated by AEM, I called them, and this is what they claim. I have OBX,also fabricated by AEM, and I think they work like a charm. Not big gains, but noticeable. I seen an AEM dyno graph, and for an F22B1, gains are max 5.5hp, and 7.0lb-ft. Not bad.

As stated in the thread linked by iam7head, crank pulley is not a good idea, pretty much anyone here will tell you, some have had their cranks fail because of the absence of harmonic balancers in aftermarket crank pulleys.

I guess you'd want to add the accessories pulley kit in an attempt to reduce engine inertia and drag, along with the lightened flywheel, for example.

I had UR pulleys on my 2000 4Cyl. and wasn't too impressed.

I'd suggest AEM, that way your not ******* with the crank pulley and you could intall them yourself.
