Default Fuel pump question

can i use my stock('90 civic hb si) fuel pump for a b16 swap or should i go ahead and get a new fuel pump and/or fuel pressure regulator?. If so, which company's fpr/pump do you recommend?
thanx.
matt
Also, what injectors should i go w/? I plan on supercharging w/ nitrous so i need a decent a mount of fuel. Are RC injectors worth it or should i try venom or something like that?

You can use your stock fuel pump, but if you're planning on forced induction, you'll need a bigger pump. I hear Walboro(sp?) makes a good one. As far as injectors, I've heard of a lot of people using 450cc DSM injectors as an upgrade. They don't take much to fit in to the fuel rail and are easy to find/relatively cheap. Hope that helps

Keep stock, its fine.
Unless you go forced induction. But you'll figure that out.

I used a 94+ Integra one in my CRX. It was a holley 190lph, and I had to change the wiring and mount it backwards so that the strainer sat in the gas properly. (You could just get a CRX Si strainer and it should work fine).

how old is your fuel pump? has it ever been replaced? if it has never been replaced you might want to start looking into getting it replaced soon. It might not be bad, or it shouldn't be bad yet...but you never know what might happen...it is an old part (that is if it has never been changed). I had an original fuel pump in my crx, and it gave out last year, and i had to replace it.

Get a Walbro. I have the 255LPH/HP pump and got it for 115.00 Shipped with the wiring harness plug and strainer. I works awsome, it was a bit of over kill but better have it then not. If you use this pump better get an adj FPR. I had a Y8 FPR b4 I put the B&M on it and it ran a 60ish PSI waaaaaay to high and rich, but was able to drop it to 40PSI which is perfect. Holley Fuel pumps are accually walbro read it on http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ and there alot cheeper.

i run a motorcraft fuel pump from a 90' mustang 5.0. most fuel pumps are of the bosch design which is what honda uses. 255lph just like the walboro, paxton, and bbk. works wonderful, only $100, and you only have to bend the fuel pump bracket to put it on
