brake rotor bobbins

Default brake rotor bobbins

does anyone know a place to purchase these alone? the dealers will only sell the brake rotor assembly.

I think he is talking about the bobbins that go on the rotor between the disc and the hat.

i need a a 0.5" diameter bobbin that fits a 0.25" thick floating rotor. The Yamaha R1 may have the right size bobbin. thanks for the help

I just got off the phone with my brother, he doesn't have any. If you try EBC brakes they offer rebuild kits for their rotors and may have the part you need. Sorry I couldn't help you out any better.

Out of curiosity, what's the application? Are they full-floating (held on with snap rings/circlips) or semi-floating (usually press-fit and have to be destroyed to remove)?

Thanks for checking, Naya. I'll try EBC or a fastener company

the application is a open wheel formula style car, full floating. (Formula SAE).
