srry, just didnt like his attitude about a 250cc being whimpy. (hehehe cause i ride a 250cc, and i cant put that to its limit at all. if i was, i would be racing motogp LOL)

My first suggestion would be to shave the seat.
Short riders have to learn a skill that us tall people don't, balancing on one foot. You might as well start on something small and get in the habit, then you're not tied to a custom bike. I've seen 5' women ride open-class porky sport bikes. They just slide off the seat slightly to one side and prop the bike up with their leg.

I think when people think that, they are thinking the four stroke 250's, and in terms of straight line acceleration.

it just doesnt make any sense to me.
a CBR250RR was more than enough straight line acceleration the last time i rode it.[Modified by Raz1983, 3:49 PM 1/30/2003]

Yeah then i guess a used CBR is they way to go.
(P.S. i dont think any of the US 250cc, 400cc motorcycels can keep up with the 600cc but to name some, RVF400R NSR250SP, RGV250SP, TZR250SP, Aprilia RS250 and maybe NS400)
