ok, i got my engine ready to go in. now i need some help with a desicion. i've got the crane cap to run a outside coil, but i dont know if i want to. is it worth it? i know i wont get anymore hp from a coil, but will it help out any other aspect of the engine? like idle, or wot acceleration? i dont want to waste money on a msd ignition box when i'm hopefully going to chip the ecu or use the zydne ecu( i think thats what it was). whats should i do?

well i think you just answered urself. if ur gonna get a aftermarket ecu then you cant buy the msd box, b/c the ecu advances the timing and ur msg ignition box with cause it to detonate= bad knocking sound
