Default Fellow enthusiast has been killed.

http://www.shreveporttimes.com/update/1043859807.shtml

I knew him somewhat myself, we've met a few times, I've had a ride in the passenger seat of that car.

His life was starting to come together, the way he had been wanting it to. He's left behind a fiance' of four years.

You guys all need to remember how fragile life is, and how easily and quickly it can be ripped away. Be safe.

my condolences as well--that is probably one of the worst ef crashes i've ever seen---I cant even imagine what was going through his mind the last seconds of his life. Let this be a lesson to all...is your civic/crx worth you life?

that is sad, they said he wasn't wearing his seatbelt, but from the looks of the crash i don't think it would have mattered

Um, huh? The article says that the crx driver was the one who crossed the median. It looks like it was clearly his fault, not that assessing blame is really important now.

Makes you think about how scary driving crxes in traffic is these days, though.

The airman’s vehicle struck the vehicle of another motorist headed southbound. The airman was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in the car that was struck was transported to Willis-Knighton Pierremont with minor injuries to her legs and arms, Hargrave said.

Hargrave said evidence at the scene indicated the airman was not wearing a seat belt. The injured woman, who was not identified, was wearing a seat belt and her car’s air bag was deployed.

yes....out law suv's.....

URGH!

It doesnt matter who's fault it was at this point. He already paid the untimate price.
Hopefully he made the best of the short life he had.
