Default spark plug gap for 95 gsr (did search, but each post had different answers!)

Just wanted to know what the gap setting is for a 95 gsr? does it matter what brand you use? would it be the same gap for all models? I did a search for this topic, one said i should gap it at "047-.051" and another one said .039-.043
so which one is it? thanks for the info

I know on my wire-type plug gap guage, the .050" wire is the only one within the range specified for GS-R's (I can't remember the exact range, but I know .050" is within it). So I use this wire and usually adjust the gap so the wire fits rather tightly in the gap. BTW I use NGK copper plugs.

The spark plug gap is .050, I just replaced the spark plugs on my 94GSR today and I asked what the spark plug gap was when I bought them and the computer listed .050

copper conducts electricity better than both platinum and iridium as far as I know... the only reason to drop that much money on spark plugs is if you have a car with plugs that are difficult to access and need them to last a very long time. Integra spark plugs are sooooo easy to change, it really is just better to spend $8 on a set of 4 plugs and change them every 10K-15K miles.

Ok guys, please don't flame...how do you gap a plug anyway? Do I just need a gapper tool, and place the correct size gap in the plug somewhere and tighten? My last car had plugs pre-gapped every time I bought them. Is there a pic anywhere that explains how this is done? I need to change plugs soon.
