i have a 90 civic hb and am looking for recommendations for stiffer springs (something that'll still ride decently) that won't lower the car.

H&R full coilovers you can set at stock height and have a super stiff ride. They are only like $1100 or so.

I know neuspeed makes a 'snow-spring' dont know if it is made for our car though. It gives you a tigher ride, but no lowering for us snow getters up north.

why not get a set of GC coilovers but not lower the car when you put them on?

yeah gc's set somewhere around stock height will be tite---but I guarantee if you got those you'd find yourself slowly lowering your car.

any of them then have a machine shop make aluminum spacers (to put between perch and spring) that are as thick as the springs drop.

H&R OE, they dont lower much and are stiffer.

You ca also grab some coilovers like the GC and put them at their highest setting. they will lower the car about an inch, so thats nice. Be carefull if you choose high spring rates, you wont be able to keep your stock shocks.

Yeah, H&R OE sports lower like .9". Also look into those Neuspeed Sofsports, do not lower the vehicle but are stiffer...
