i think the biggest problem is that the USDM temp control is cable-driven, whereas the JDM was some type of eletronic servo doing all the work. there are old posts about this but i dont recall if they ever found a solution.

you're not alone with the cracked panel

its not fully cable driven as the doors/flappers are servo driven as well.....

the actual **** to control the temp is cable driven

actually its not a plug and play...when i did my RHD conversion, the jdm harness has four plugs, plus one cable for the coolant valve...so the only thing that will acutally work would be the fan switch and maybe the lights..the other plugs don't match. I'm not sure how the others guys used them on the usdm cars, but i don't think it would be easy to do

its not plug and play and not worth the trouble of putting it in....just buy a USDM one.... and call it a day

Get a US panel they are plentiful, stop trying to ***** your interior out JDM style.
