What would be the steps to check the ABS system? My ABS light comes on about 5 min after starting the car. Any obvious places to check for problems?

 

check your ABS fuiuld resevoir first

 

If fluid is fine, check parking brake cable tightness.

 

that would happen to my car, I had aslow leak in my accumulator, but it was very slow. what i had to do was have the brake lines bled and check the fluid every 2-3 weeks... accumulator was too expensive, it was easier to just check fluid. what it is doing when you start it is the abs system is trying to be pressurized, that is what the buzzing noise is, and thenwhen it realizes it cant pressurize for whatever reason the abs light comes on...
