I am going to buy a JDM H22A engine in a few months and put it in my 96 prelude. My question is, is there an SH tranny that will fit this motor on my car? I also want to equip this car with the rear wheel steering package. Can this be done without serious modifications?

 

easy enough. Just do the conversion from OBDII to OBDI at the same time.

Why would you want the SH tranny? You're dealing with a whole different animal here. Yes, in theory, you can do it. Although, for the trouble, I'd rather do an auto to manual swap. And yes, the tranny will fit the motor. It's the CAR that I'm worried about. The SH tranny runs off the ATTS system, which you'd have to add to your car. It involves computers, lines, extra brakets on your motor etc etc.

Yes, but not without serious $$$$. They made a 4th gen all wheel steer, but you'd pretty much need the entire system from underneath.
#1. finding this entire system in decent condition will be hard
#2. finding this entire system will NOT be cheap
#3. paying someone to basically disassemble the underside of your Prelude and reinstall the new stuff is gonna cost you your left arm, right nut, and pinkie toe on each foot.
