Anyone notice how much misinformation is floating around out there?

Every post I've read in the past couple hours has some sort of information that is totally incorrect. Everyone is going by what their "dawgz" tell them or by something that they read in Superstreet.

Maybe, instead of regurgitating something that they read in on Honda-Tech, maybe they should try it out, or even state that they aren't completely sure before they state it as truth.

Misinformation only leads to problems. It doesn't make you look good when you get called out. And it basically pissess everyone off.

If you don't know what the hell you are talking about, please, don't post. If you feel that you absolutely need to, do a little research before you make yourself look stupid.

I completely agree with you on that. I don't claim to know everything, and I sure as hell don't post something unless I've seen it with my own eyes or done it myself. I don't go by what others say, or I'll begin my post with, "I've heard that..." to make sure people know that I'm not stating something as a fact.

Your punctuation is incorrect. With a few exceptions, punctuation marks go inside quotations. For instance, Jane didn't know he said, "I ate an apple." Like I said, though, there are a few instances when punctuation marks go outside of quotations, but your above sentence was marked incorrectly.

Since when did H-T become English class?

The original signature said this:

School is more important then cars.

I changed it to:

School is more important than cars.

The word, "than" is emphasized as a joke to the original people that pointed out the error.

 

I referred to what you posted: Ha ha, actually, I got caught using "then". I just emphasized that word to show I changed it.

It should read ". . . .I got caught using 'then.'" Notice where the period is? That's how it should be.

And this is way O-T. I better stop before my percentage drops.

Schools is fun. Actually, pretty stressful. So far, there have been a few days where I've been up at 4 am working on projects. I just have to learn to stop procrastinating.

I figure I'm the smartest person on any site I happen to frequent. Take it for what it's worth. I don't get on all Honda sites, but I get on this one, so consider yourself lucky.

On H-T, I had to turn off the IM, 'cause I had so many ppl asking me for advice and kissing my ***, et cetera. This isn't a condemnation of anyone, so don't take offense; just a matter of fact.

Anyway, while talking to a certain unnamed influential individual on this site, it was commented upon that I was the 3rd smartest person on H-T, not #1. Whatever!

I don't want to bore you, but you asked. Whom do you think was #1 and #2? I'll be glad to tell you, if you guess correctly...
