Just curious to hear what people the removal of the MC. I spent a good amount of time there and got some good laughs too. Although this will probably end up locked...oh well.

There was a members corner?

I did occasionally check it out, even posted a couple times. It could be somewhat entertaining if I was really bored, but I wouldn't miss it. I just hope none of the OT shenanigans spills into other forums.

 

Yeah, Members corner sucked IMO, not that I did not liked it, but there was just too much crap floating around.

I liked it much better without members corner, but here and there some OT in the other forums to give a little lough.

I wrote a thread *moderators at honda-tech* about 1.5 years ago in the ITR forum about closing all the ot threads and make a seperate forum called "members forem" ......I did not liked to whole idea. Who cares on 5 ot threads on one page of an forum......that is the salt in the soup

i agree that the MC was a nice thing to have. it will be back, give it time. and lets not turn this thread into another debate like the one in MC that resulted in the closing of it.

I think if they get rid of it all that crap is going to spill into our beloved tech forums causing mass hysteria and the end of Honda-Tech as we know it. But honestly, I liked it and posted in there often, made me laugh a lot. And it's a good place for posts that relate to cars but have no specific place on H-tech. Oh well.

I use this place first for learning about my Honda. Secondly I use it as a social place. I first came for the info and that is what will keep me here. So, I will patiently wait...

 

yes i think there are better ways to handle those kind of problems tho , now people are jsut mad ......... and they are making these posts in tech threads..... oh well , i jsut found this a little funny when whoever said this:

its the largest becasue people of all different car models go there to chill..... the others arent as big cause genrally people with civics stay in the civic forum and the people with integras stay in the integra forum and so on ect.... i just thought the person who wrote that had a brain fart and didnt think about why it has the most posts

o well im not replying to this anymroe since it is not tech and we are in a tech forum.......

Glad it's gone. It was turning into the AAG forum.

90% of the threads were bullshit. Now we can turn this place back into Honda TECH.

people kept posting stuff that bothered other people...sexual stuff that didnt needed to be discussed on HT. not having a MC makes me

 

thats why there is a TECH forum...theres only a few forums that arent tech related...dont take mc away..i do agree that there a few people that go a bit to far with certain things...but for the most part it is ok

 

So go to another forum. If I want to read about relationship problems or get sex advice, I go to O-T. There are drug forums out there.

H-T is not the end all of web forums.........not to mention, the outside world and real interaction with real people, face to face.

 

i know what you mean..im just saying...ONE of the most enjoyable things for me about h-t is the members corner...i met some cool peeps here ...but i think it wouldnt be the same without mc

 

definatley, i have been noticing that the last couple days, i was away for the weekend and i didnt even know they closed MC, now i realize why im seeing OT ****. this combined with the influx of no-nothing noobs will make sorting out the bullshit posts on the civic forum a real pain in the ***... what was the harm in keeping MC anyway?
