do you just not know how to spell?????....no one said anything about jdm anything....thats just a cop-out all you guys wanna use when the performance minded people around here make fun of you for doing something that isnt performance oriented.....i like a nice system....but if i had a trunk i would also like to use that....and with that setup you posted you lose all functionality of your trunk.....so thats why you get flammed my friend

yes i can spell.

and the reason everyone flames is not because of loss of functionality. people strip their interiors to ****, and they dont get flammed. real functional there. they are gonna flame because it doesn't fit in with the trend. and the trend is jdm.

his trunk looks useable. i think i can fit a few bags of grocery back there

my trunk is very useable, where i have the amps mounted is where the cover of the gas tank is.

the most "bump" id ever want: nakamichi head unit, cdt or rainbow 6.5 components, image dynamics idq or cdt 10" small enclosure sub, and 2 small arc amps to run them. mmmmm

I wasn't flaming you, I was just saying you were going to get flamed. People here are generally performance minded, and giant bling bling "systems" do nothing to help performance. I had a sub and some nice speakers for a while, but then I took them out except for my two front speakers to save weight. I like music, especially when it sounds good. But I can do that at home.

Subs should stay at the sub way. My torqueless wonder of a car can barley pull itself around, much less with some fat *** subs and speakers.

This might hold true for you...But for the 80% of us that drive our cars on the street most of the time...Some weight in the back really is not a big deal. Honestly, this weight thing is getting out of hand.

it doesnt help ENGINE preformance but amps and subs help your stereo preformance....and to some people its just as important(not me personally but hey to each his own)...but if someone puts the work in to install a system lik that, not only will it sound nice, but it will look nice too...i have no problem with people who add weight to thier cars by adding subs.

can anyone recommend a small amp and small sub that i could put in my car right behind the rear seat but in front of a strut bar so its between the seat and strut bar and not just chilling in the middle of the hatch? i want a nice 10" probably with moderate power, nothing crazy....i have an alpine deck with the sub out......oh yeah, my budget isnt too large for this as I dont want junk, but i also dont care to try to have an audiophile environment in my integra, i have a very nice stereo to listen to music at home, i dont need a super nice one in my car.

You need to find one of those subs that doesn't require large spaces. I'm not too hip of the new ****, but last time I checked they had subs that you could mount in tiny boxes, that still moved the same ammount of air. I thought they were called solobaric or something like that. I've been out of the stereo loop for years...So forgive me. And regarding amps, I have always stuck with PPI.
