here's a cheap way to increase your gas
Here's one of those worth to know but probably useless tidbits. You get MORE gas when you buy it during the winter and colder times of the day....such as at midnight or in the early morning. So, I always buy in the morning or at night. Why? Gas is denser when it's cold and expands more when it is hot. So, when you fill up in the morning, you will get more gas than in the afternoon. Especially in the summer. With gas prices increasing, I follow this route, more now than before since I have to buy 91 octane!!!
Hehe. Yah, pleazeeeee no flames.

I know thermo and fluids but I am not going to pull out the constants for this thread. Anyway, you might end up getting 0.0001% more per 5-10 deg F temp drop. Around 4-5 cents savings per year, maybe.
here's what i do:
i probaly gets me a sip more of gas, thats bout it (its just in the mind)
but anyways ill pull to the gas station where you normally do, but i park my car further away from the gas pump. therefore, you'll have to stretch that hose and make it straight as possible, becuase usually people park there car right next to the pump and the hose have a ( U ) curve to it and the gas goes down and then back up.
I make the hose as straight as possible, and my car nearly as possible as to the other side of the gas pump, so that the hose can be straight and not having a ( U ).
and if you really wanna go GHETTO, let the squeeze handle clip on so the gas is running and grap that hose and lift it up to the sky, so that you'll get every juice of that 93 octance. afterwards, shake the pump so you'll get that extra drop or 2 also. but thats just all in the head.

Honestly! i already thought of this...but i still just pump gas when ever i need it...and the best time would be in the morning..because and night it would still be cooling off..unless its late night...
To keep the gas pressure sealed. After filling up, pour a bit of gas sparingly around the gas tank metal. Put your cap on and turn it, but don't lock it tight. Unwind it and then make the 3 click turns.

well i know for a fact that you actually get more gas from a machine when the machine is running real slow. The sensor for the meachine have the most % error during those times. Of course it also works the other way too. If the numbers are going real fast you're paying a lot more than what you are getting
I would agree with this if the gas was stored above ground in dirrect sunlight, but it is stored underground and is rather cool at any time of day.
hehe....i'm a crackhead too
i always do the hose lifting thing....
after i flip the lever down, i pull the hose up (ghetto) to get the extra 10 oz. in the U in the hose

I think this guy went to Bovine University with Ralph.
i know, how about after youre done topping off, you seek out others who have just finished topping off, then when they put the nozzle back you go and grab it and top off what remaining topping off there is to top off.
also, if youre quick enough, you can catch their vapors when they first release their gas cap
Newer gas pumps have sensors that account for the tempature and the density of gas.
This might work on really old pumps, but nothing new.

its the truth stupids...i was a fuels specialist in the airforce, and gas expands in heat so does everything else..like your girlfreinds
