Default Flat Spots in tires?

I just had my wheel bearings replaced at Acura under warranty, and they did a full check on my tires. They found that 3 of my 205/50/15 Falken Ziex tires had bad flat spots and 1 had a minor flat spot. Supposedly this is what has caused my ride quality to be kinda bumpy other than my wheel bearings going bad. Now the thing is, the tires are only a month old or so and although discount argued with me to no end they finally agreed to order me 4 new tires. Anyone ever had this happen? It's not like I had my car sitting on them for a long time, a day and half max.

Default Re: Flat Spots in tires? (Mooshu)

I had some nitto nt 450s on my other car and one of them like shredded apart going down the high way. since it was about a 10 inch rip on the inner side wall I did think it was me running over something so I called them and she told me that since it was just one tire that she would send me another one and id hafta pay shipping only because it was a factory defect. She said normal process was if something happened that I would have to pay to have the tires shipped to them so they could determine if they were my fault or factory then they would replace if it wasnt my fault. I took out the insurance/warrenty thing on all of them it was like 8 bucks more a tire or something she was nice about the whole thing and I got the new tire for just the shipping charge.
