I sold my Sparco wheel and picked up the newer Mugen (Momo) steering wheel. It is the thinest wheel I have found and I really like the feel. It seems I have more control because I can grip it better than the thicker Sparco. I'm sure the suede will wear quicker than a leather wheel would.

after 3 months of use, the top left of the wheel is warn out to chit.
joe-who used to love the smoothness of the suade, now it's all ruffed up

I really like that placement for the shift light too. How did you get that to fit? What kind of shift light is that?
I have an Autometer one from my old mustang, but its a bit big, and looks a little ricey.
I may end up using it anyway rather than spending more $$.

That is a big old honking Auto meter shoved into the dash. you have to remove the gauge bezel and use some creativity to wiggle it in there..........after you pull out the dremel and enlarge the hole slighlty.

What did you use to cover up what the hub doesn’t cover? In my R I have a momo wheel and I can see the inside of what I think is the steering column (its white in colour).
Kind of bugs me….
