You kinda answered your own question...

If by 2.25" drop, you mean the springs when compressed by the static weight of the car lower it 2.25" all around, that's exactly how much clearance you'll be loosing. Whether it be tire to fender, jacking point to ground, etc. You should be able to see if you will rub or tuck or scrape by subtracting 2.25" from any of those clearances you already have.

Of course if you have coil-over sleeves (a-la Ground Control or Skunk2), adjustable perch shocks (Koni Sports have 3 or 5 notches for the lower spring perch), or full threaded-body coilovers the amount can be varied by where you set the lower spring perch.

I believe the spring manufacturers that list a drop value, assume a stock shock (or one with stock length and perch location).

Well the car right now is less then 4" off the ground(under neither the center of the car). It has stock rims and tires. I bought it his way. I want to raise it up a little because it is also going to be my commuter. engine swap soon.

Well that is pretty low.... However, you didn't say if the suspension was still stock... If the springs are still stock and you're that low, they are probably sagging so you are loosing some height you normally would have. Or the previous owner could have cut them too. If the bushings are stock and old they could add a little more to this.

I've used springs that claim 2-2.25 of a drop, but I always had them on Koni's with adjustable perches so I can retain ample fender/tire clearance, etc. It wouldn't be a good idea to use a spring with this drop range with stock shocks. The perch is fixed, you'll loose shock travel and you will probably end up as low as you are now. If your goal is to raise the car from where its at, something like Eibach Sportlines or ProKits give 1-1.5" drop and are useable on stock shocks. Or if the stockers are cut, find someone here who has them laying around for cheap.
