Default Help with a "Hard" decision

I posted this in a members corner but didn't get much response, so I'll repost this here too

OK guys , I've been a member for few weeks now , mostlly browsing through , then posting , but here goes my question.
What should I do with my car ???

First I was thinking to go full show, because I got a bad record , and figured cops would leave me alone, and I would have a nice looking ride.
So I did my interior white and yellow ( I'm still in the process of doing it ) and it looks amazing and all, people love it , but I don't. I think I want to go "All go", figured , screw show cars. So now I'm thinking to myself, should I leave my interior the way I've done it or should I just put a stock black one in, cause a friend of mine is wiling to trade me + some cash.

I think I've decided not to go body kit any more , planning to do a 98+conversion to my teg (but leaving the 97 front end the way it is, so it's kidna diffrent the other tegs), and make it look like a type R wannabe, basically.
So what you guys think ???
Just be serious with your answers/suggestions cause this is a really hard decision for me.
Here's some picture of the car , and my interior.

If you want to make it a type r wanna be, don't.... Keep it what it is.... looks good. Just poor money into the engine, id say keep it stock but you already did the interior kinda so finish it and do engine.... at least thats what i would do if i had the money and the car Teg's

hmmm....repaint the front lip and i think you got yourself a decent looking car. but you think that your status of "all go" or "all show" is just something you decide? you just decided to wake up one day and say, "you know what, i think my car will be an all go car so i can tell that to other people and they'll give me respect." i think you should actually run your car at the strip, or track or autox and than MAYBE you can call yourself and your car by it's "status". i find it lame that people have to put a label on their car to justify what the car is used for. don't be in such an identity crisis and do as you please. just my $.02

The car is going to get some body work and paint job done on it, so that's why I'm going to take it all apart once again. And probably put the black one back in or try to score some type R interior. Still have to decide, I'm really confused about the interior.
I was planning to repaint it type R yellow with either a full 98+ conversion or just the back, so it looks diffrent. And the wing is comming offand the moldings too. Planning to buy some 16's ROTA circuit 8's in bronze next winter too, and sell my 17's I got sitting around. What do you guys think ?

good job on the interior but I would just strip all the paint off yourself and throw all the money in the engine. You will get pulled over more for having a body kit and everything then you would if it was stock on the outside and a sleeper under the hood

Well if you're short on cash, then go ahead and trade the interior and get some cash...but if not, I say keep it cus at least you didnt do a half *** job on it...the interior looks real nice...

My friends are telling me the same thing , but I don't know who to listen too.
I might leave the inerior in, if I don't trade with my buddy, and get some matching front seats, and redo the rear ones.
Then do the 98+ conversion, and go all out on the engine.

I see you are from Toronto. Did you go to the Darknights Nationals or First Episode? If you did then you might have seen my crew, TeamWorx from Rochester, NY. One of our members has a four door Teg that has a complete interior color change to white and yellow. I will try to find you some pics.

Hope this helps. Careful put on your shades first.

Yes I did see that 4 door teg there. I was there at the first episode at the "carcandy" booth.
the car looks really nice , he did a nice job, but I think I've set my mind, and go all go. No bodykits for me.
Might even go turbo, if the funds will be there.

you know what'd be sick? yellow jdm recaros in there.
actually.............yes that would be sick, i dont know if you were kidding but that would look hella clean IMO. dont they have yellow rears too, ive seen it in eg's but never dc's. that would look pimp and kinda be a mix betwwen go and show and JDM. one question how much did it cost ya to change your interior i want an all black interior as opposed to my tan interior i have now. id but a stock one but i cant ever find anyone selling a full interior for a four door teg. thanks.

see, i'm right, keep the interior and finish it off, then put money into the motor then you'll have a nice mix of go and show.

If you like car the way it is then keep it.

With the car the way it is now is to slow for you then start to build the motor.

If you think your going to change your mind later then i would go ahead and switch with your friend.

my 2cents

dont do things for others . do what you like "be different"
