On GSR motor..
Please recommend what valve springs and cam is recommended if I wanted
to go with an aggressive high rpm cam (like ITR cams) and turbo?

uhhh agressive high overlap cams and turbos don't usually mix very well. Your'e stock GSR valvetrain should be fine... spend the $$ elsewhere (like on some forged pistons - your'e gonna need em eventually )

Stick with the stock valvetrain unless you also get stronger rods/pistons to make sure it all holds together at those "higher" rpm.
Big cams (like an ITR) may just add to the blow-through effect w/o any increase in performance, and may even degrade performance at higher boost levels.

Cheap JDM front and ... and than you're going to get the Mugen bits?
Make up your mind.

Springs not need unless you need to rev higher. ITR cams have more duration than GSRs. The answer as to which has more potential is still debated.

Mugen front is JDM only so you have to convert to jdm before you put the mugen front end on. I dont need the bumper only the conversion kit.
Sorry, should have been more literal. I just assumed ppl would understand what
I meant.

I understood what you meant, but what I meant is that it's not ever going to be cheap!

ah.. hehe no kidding lol.
Okay so regardless of better off sticking with stock valve train and all that..
Lets talk hypothetically here.
Say I wanted a turbochareged GSR motor that revs to 8400 without blowing up.
What do I need to do?

change to ITR valvesprings if your'e really worried about it - but you shouldn't have to rev that high to make power on a boosted motor - you need to do a search - I'm sure this has been covered before.

Drop some Portflow Inners and ITR Outers in there and your fine.

If you want to actually turn up the boost on the motor, resleeve the block, add block guard, forged pistons, I beam rods, ARP head studs, it should hold together.

Skip the block gaurd on a sleeved motor... probably not good for cooling aspects.

sorry about the big pics. Ed
