save your money and buy ground control or skunk2. i made the mistake of buying the r1 for my integra, and it was the worst ride i had ever experience. i'd learn my lesson to go cheap, because the saying is true... "you get what you pay for!"

 

my friend jdm-ef9 on this site got them, he loves them

 

yeah i just got the Dropzone coilovers from ebay last week
just installed them saturday and sol dmy neuspeed race springs to Dee-ecks
anyways they perform well... its not really bouncy and they control the travell off the car.. IMO they are worthed.. quality also seemed to be good.... they are not the great GC coils i wanted... but for the tight budget i have they are worthed

 

I dont know exactly what your budget is but if you watch HTs classifieds and http://www.thepartstrader.com you should be able to find used set for around $200. Just something to think about.

 

anyone know any of the spring rates for those ebay brands?

Hold out for Ground Control or Skunk2. I have the Skunk2s on my Prelude and love them.

 

on the ebay Dropzone coilovers the Front are 450 and the rear are 350

 

Yeah I want the Skunk2 coilovers cause I heard they are pretty stiff. But won't the collars get stuck over time from dirt on the threads?

 

i had skunk2s on my crx before and the ride simply sucked..way too stiff for daily driving imo.

 

you make the mistake of buying the drag ones?

 

the stuff from ebay is all crap......made in taiwan/china no name stuff
